Safety Waiver

PARTICIPANT INFORMATION

ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF RISKS

I understand and acknowledge that participation in tactical training activities offered through the American Hoplite platform involves inherent and significant risks of property damage, serious bodily injury, and death. These risks include, but are not limited to:

• Firearms-related risks: Accidental discharge, ricochets, hearing damage, burns from hot casings or surfaces, and exposure to lead and other toxic substances
• Physical training risks: Muscle strains, falls, collisions, cuts, bruises, fractures, and other bodily injuries from physical contact and movement
• Equipment-related risks: Malfunction of training equipment, protective gear, weapons, or safety devices that could result in injury or death
• Environmental risks: Weather conditions, uneven terrain, obstacles, and other environmental factors that could cause accidents
• Medical emergency risks: Delayed medical attention, inadequate first aid, or complications from pre-existing medical conditions

VOLUNTARY PARTICIPATION

I voluntarily choose to participate in tactical training activities with full knowledge and appreciation of these risks. I understand that no one is forcing me to participate, and I may discontinue participation at any time.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK

I hereby assume all risks of participating in tactical training activities, whether known or unknown, anticipated or unanticipated. I understand that neither American Hoplite, its instructors, partners, nor any other parties involved can guarantee my safety or eliminate all risks associated with tactical training.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY

In consideration for being permitted to participate in tactical training activities, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue:

• • American Hoplite and its officers, directors, employees, and agents
• • Training instructors and their business entities
• • Training facility owners and operators
• • Equipment manufacturers and suppliers
• • Any other parties involved in providing tactical training services

This release applies to all claims, demands, causes of action, damages, losses, costs, and expenses arising out of or relating to my participation in tactical training activities, including but not limited to claims based on negligence, breach of contract, or any other legal theory.

INDEMNIFICATION

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless all released parties from any and all claims, demands, losses, costs, damages, and expenses (including attorney's fees) arising out of or relating to my participation in tactical training activities, including claims brought by third parties.

MEDICAL CONDITION DISCLOSURE

I represent that I am in good physical and mental health and have no medical conditions that would prevent safe participation in tactical training. I agree to immediately disclose any medical conditions, medications, or physical limitations that could affect my ability to safely participate.

SAFETY COMPLIANCE

I agree to follow all safety rules, instructions, and procedures provided by instructors. I understand that failure to comply with safety requirements may result in immediate removal from training without refund.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF UNDERSTANDING

I have read this waiver carefully and understand its legal significance. I understand that this is a legally binding agreement that affects my legal rights. I am signing this waiver voluntarily and with full understanding of its implications.
